QMS Training for ISO 9001:2015

Eka Infra recently achieved an important milestone in its endeavour to establish a quality management system conforming to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

Having released its Quality Manual and QMS Procedure Manual, Eka Infra staff including the top management participated in a 3-day implementer training programme conducted by professionals in the field of quality.

The programme was designed to make Eka Infra staff understand their role in the implementation of the quality management system and how their specific actions or lack of them could impact its functioning.

The programme helped the participants to understand the basic terms, concepts and requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in relation to the established quality management system. The programme had many group exercises that helped to reveal the practical applicability of the system. The programme ended with a cleverly designed quiz that demonstrated the understanding of ISO 9001:2015 clauses vividly.

With this programme, Eka Infra has shared the responsibility and made the staff an integral part of the company’s quality management system which was crucial to achieving staff buying-in and engagement in implementation of the quality management system.
